My Daily Picture

So thankful that my disability was finally approved. That was one crazy experience. I actually wish I could have handled it all in person, for once that would have been a good thing! But as usual God had it handled the entire time.

I think I have been waiting my whole life for today. I don't even care my seat isn't with Anthony. What an amazing movie - we saw it twice in the theaters. Can't wait for it to come out on video. 

Kids had a great day. Makes my heart Happy. Thank you Jesus for all of your blessings!

You can't see them, but I sit in my chair and watch them play in the trees. It's so peaceful. I love them so much. Thank you God for the Squirrels. 

I worked my arm off this weekend! Slow and steady wins the race. I just keep sending myself that message. 10 weeks since surgery. I think I should be able to conquer the world, but not just yet. My Scrappy Sisters were JUST what the doctor ordered! Back to my Super Saints tomorrow fresh and ready to go!

These women have been by my side through thick and thin as I have served God in my mission as a Wife, Mother and Teacher. When I told them I would not be able to join them on our Scrappy Sister weekend because of financial constraints due to my surgery (my disability was actually denied and I am in the process of appealing it), my dear friend  Judy Testa  decided to pay for my weekend because she could not imagine sharing the room with anyone else! She doesn’t mind I have to sleep with the light on! Who would have known that I am actually struggling emotionally with my recovery and would NEED these wonderful women ever so much this weekend. GOD knew. God placed each and every one of them carefully in my life and they are a treasure.

28 years ago I went out on a date with this handsome guy. My version of the story is that I said yes because he was so nervous I figured if I said no, he'd never ask another girl out again. Well, he never HAD to ask another girl out! 28 years of dating this guy, 21 years of marriage, 3 kids, fur babies to love and I would not trade a minute of it! Thank you for 28 amazing years of stealing a kiss under the street light on Jessica road!

Today, without reservation I placed a huge decision in God's hands. I feel completely at peace and hope those impacted will feel it too! It's been a long time since I've felt this way!
