It's been a long time since just the two of us have spent time together at Disneyland... the kids were with us, but we let them go off on their own. Lauren brought a friend for a "Senior Ditch Day", and Megan and Douglas stuck together. So that meant the two of us could go back to the days of "dating in Disneyland!" 

I can hardly believe we have 2 graduates! Aubrey is graduating 8th grade! She wanted a disco ball...so I got her one :-) 

The girls and I had the pleasure of attending the Bridal Shower of Miss Stephanie Moreno. She was their Spanish teacher when they attended SCA and she is my friend and mentor. 

It's hard to express just what this award means to me... it's like no other. It was earned by my actions, attitude and selfless spirit of doing God's work. I was so surprised and honored. I'm humbled and it will be cherished. 

Life has a way of coming full circle sometimes... Meghan Dyer was a student in my 4th grade class many years ago, and now she is our "personal hair dresser". She is currently the Kindergarten aide, and Athletic Director at SCA. It is such a blessing to have her in our life.  Lauren looked amazing - and had a wonderful time at the museum of Flying in Santa Monica for her Senior Prom. She went with a group of friends. Afterward they went to Denny's. 

I had a great time today. So blessed my friend Ceci let me serve for her so I could still play in the game! for the 1st time in 12 years the 8th grade won, bit that's okay! 

Congratulations to my Megan Emily on her Confirmation. The girls picked the same sponsor so poor Salynn was in it for the long haul!But Monseigneur Wallace reminded us we are all winners when we are on God's team! @ St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, Riverside CA

I didn't want to have children, but God saw fit to bless me with these three amazing humans. I am no where near Mom of the Year, but I love you with all my heart! Thank you for the AMAZING breakfast Megan Emily. 

Stephanie is the best mentor/friend I could ever ask for. Sometimes I don't know how she puts up with me. I completely rely on her to carry me when my burdens are heavy. Her wisdom far surpasses her years on earth.
