 Took the day off to go on a Field Trip with the boy. It was AMAZING.

Here we go... Braces... 2 years to fix his smile.  Douglas was really broken - first his eyes, now his teeth - sheesh! 

I completely enjoy getting Christmas Cards. I also like to send them...picture cards with lots of pictures and a letter. I love that. This year with going to Texas for AJ's funeral there was no way I was going to get Christmas Cards out. It would have been easy to just NOT send cards this year...everyone would understand...but I wanted to do something.  AJ loved Christmas. His house was always decorated fully and no detail was overlooked. It was important to not ignore Christmas just because he wasn't here, so New Year's Cards were the next best thing. May 2018 be filled with events that make memories...because those memories are what we have when our loved one's leave us. 

Douglas is naturally funny. I think he gets his humor from my side of the family. My Grandfather William was funny and I have a cousin Anthony I can hardly be in the same room with without laughing hysterically at everything he says. Tonight as we pulled up to KFC this newest funny just rolled off his tongue..

It's tradition to celebrate Duck- Ducks birthday on January 3. This year they wanted a poop party...poop is their favorite thing... I have no idea why...  the cupcakes look pretty "crappy" - ha ha ha.

This is what we call "Quality Time" it involves watching TV while someone is asleep. This morning Megan and I had a nice session of "Quality Time". The reason I am so excited is because I am usually the one asleep... I hope my goose is just tired and not getting sick. 

This is the Snapchat I received from Megan today... yes...this is how I started out 2018...but it's ok. I'm taking it as a symbol of ridding my self of the demons of 2017 and moving forward into 2018 fresh and clean... 2018 is about PRIORITIES.
